WEDDINGS
Using her photojournalistic experience, Joanne captures natural,
creative, unscripted images without imposing on your day and has a
very relaxed, friendly and stress free manner. She meets with the
couple prior to their day to discuss the couple’s requirements and to
get a feel for what they like, as well as to give ideas and get
feedback.

PORTRAITURE
Having young children of her own, she enjoys the challenges involved
in photographing children, trying to capture their personality
in that split second that will be a lasting happy memory for
the family for years to come.

BACKGROUND AND AWARDS
J oanne worked as a press photographer for a multi-award winning
newspaper in Belfast, during which time she won three awards,
being ‘Overall Newcomer of the Year’ and ‘Newcomer of the Year – Print
Category’ at the IPR Awards, as well as taking third place in the News
Category of the Press Photographer of the Year Awards. She went on to
work freelance covering Weddings and Portraiture, as well as
working for various newspapers, agencies and PR companies.
Her work has appeared in various publications throughout the
country. She is a member of the Northern Ireland Press Photographers Association (NIPPA).
